Public Volcano Lecture at St Andrews

The Volcanic and Magmatic Studies Group (VMSG) is planning a number of seminars across the UK to mark its 60th Anniversary. The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of St Andrews has been selected to host one of these events, and our theme is Climate and societal impact of large volcanic eruptions.

We are thrilled to be welcoming Prof. Siwan Davies from Swansea University to the School and invite you to join us on Wednesday 8th May at 1pm in the Irvine Lecture Theatre (and online). Prof. Davies has wide-ranging expertise in tephrochronology and environmental change.
